🥑 Saving Yourself Time, Energy, and Money.
Let's talk about SYSTEMS - an acronym for Saving Yourself Time, Energy, and Money.
Now, some folks find systems boring. But bear with me. It starts with jotting down all your procedures. This becomes your SOP library, your Business Cookbook. I've been using this for years, allowing me to enjoy a full, uninterrupted month-long vacation annually with my family, despite a bustling business in multiple countries and a trio of kids.
The secret? Documented systems. When I'm away, the business ticks along smoothly. And today, I want to share how you can create your own Business Cookbook. But beware of common mistakes: don't make it overly complex, keep it simple and accessible for your team.
Start in the right place: follow the money trail. Begin with payment systems, then backtrack through closing, marketing, and onwards to onboarding. By mapping this out, you'll systemize your business gradually. The key difference? A systemized business grants you freedom, while one reliant solely on you means no downtime.
Avoid being enslaved by your business; aim to be its owner, not just an operator. This is all about living the Sprint Life: doing what you love daily while your business supports you.
