Psychology of Sales - Peak State Walk

Have you ever had those weeks when you're not making sales or you're just not feeling the energy needed to serve your clients with dedication and patience?

If so, you're not alone.

In this article, I'll share a powerful technique to help you get back into your peak state, where you can serve effectively and make the right decisions for your clients.

Getting 'Above the Line' Quickly

Let's face it; we don't have the luxury of time in our busy lives, juggling responsibilities as parents, entrepreneurs, and creators. That's why it's crucial to have quick and effective tools in your sales toolkit. If you're not selling or not feeling your best, it's time to get 'above the line' promptly. Going into a sales situation unprepared not only wastes your time but also the precious time of your potential clients.

The Six-Second Immediate Peak State Mantra

In a previous video, I introduced the 'Six Seconds Immediate Peak State Mantra,' a tool that can work wonders in certain stages of your life. For some, this mantra might be all you need. But what if you still feel something's not quite right? In that case, here's a technique that can help you realign and reignite your energy.

The 60-Minute Peak State Walk

Imagine taking a one-hour walk in nature, allowing yourself to connect with your inner self and find the clarity you need to excel in your sales conversations. During this walk, you'll ponder a set of questions, answering each with just three words. The questions are designed to tap into your deepest motivations and values, helping you regain your peak state.

Questions to Reflect On

1️⃣ When was one major moment in my life where I felt fully in my zone? This question helps you recall a time when you were at your best.

2️⃣ What is your life's purpose? Defining your purpose can give you direction and motivation.

3️⃣ What is your proudest contribution to your family? Reflecting on your family contributions can help you connect with your values.

4️⃣ The three most important values you contribute to a relationship. Identify the values that you bring to your interactions.

5️⃣ The three most important values you want to receive from a relationship. Understand what you seek in your relationships.

6️⃣ Your three greatest heroes. Consider the individuals who inspire you.

7️⃣ Your unique superpowers, gifts, and skills. Recognize what sets you apart.

8️⃣ How have you helped the world and the people around you? Acknowledge your positive impact.

9️⃣ What would you do if you had all the money and time in the world? Envision your ideal life.

Writing Down Your Answers

After your walk, find a peaceful spot, perhaps enjoy a cup of tea, and write down your answers to these questions. But here's the key—summarize your thoughts in just three powerful words for each question. Keeping it concise is essential for clarity and focus.

The Power of Alignment

So, why does this work? By reflecting on these questions, you're aligning your inner self with your actions, bringing you back into your peak state. When you're in this state, you're primed to serve, listen, and make the right decisions for your clients, which is the essence of modern sales.

Share the Knowledge

If you find this technique helpful, be sure to share this article with a friend who could benefit from it. We all have days when we're 'below the line,' and it's essential to get back 'above the line' quickly. Remember, in sales, your ultimate goal is to serve and help your clients make informed decisions, not to push products onto them.

Conclusion

So, there you have it - the 60-Minute Peak State Walk. It's a tool to quickly realign your energies and set yourself up for success in your sales endeavors. Remember, you don't need to escape to the woods for days to regain your peak state; you can achieve it in just one hour.
