Your AI Sales Agent Is Talking to Prospects Right Now. Do You Know What It's Saying?

You built the agent. You wrote the prompt. You turned it loose on text and chat, and now it's running hundreds of sales conversations a week without you in the room.

That's the trade every business running AI sales agents has made: scale, in exchange for visibility. The dashboard shows you reply rates and bookings. It doesn't show you the eight-step arc buried inside every single conversation — where the agent built trust, where it surfaced frustration, where it went quiet exactly when it should have asked one more question. When conversion dips, you're left guessing which conversation, which turn, cost you the close.

Tiffany White runs Vision Automated, where she builds AI agents that text and chat with prospects on behalf of her clients' businesses. In her own words: "I've loaded in five transcripts of our AI agent speaking with prospects and customers from our client's business, and that way we can enhance our prompt to write better conversations using Simon's framework and methodology."

Her agents don't warm up before a conversation. They don't reread the transcript afterward and wince at the line they should have said differently. They just run, at whatever quality they were prompted to run at — conversation after conversation, with no built-in way to know if that quality is actually good.

So she built a way to check.

Score the agent the way you'd score a rep

Most people use the Strategy Sprints Sales Coach skill the obvious way: load in a call transcript, get coached before the next one. Tiffany applied it somewhere most AI-agent operators never think to look — at the AI itself.

She loaded five real transcripts of her agent, "Grace," talking with prospects and customers: Amy, Daphne, Linda, Deb, and Lainey. Then she ran each conversation through Claude, scored against the same 8 Steps of the Repeatable Sale that Strategy Sprints teaches human sales teams — Rapport & Trust, Frustration, Importance, Cost of Inaction, Deliverables, Investment, Starting Date, Statement of Work, laid out side by side on the same screen where the conversations themselves happened.

Top score across the five: 66. Not a verdict on the whole business — a read on five conversations, which is exactly the point. Five conversations is enough to see a pattern, and the pattern was consistent: Cost of Inaction was the weakest step, with Starting Date close behind (Deliverables works differently for how Vision Automated closes, so that gap read as expected rather than a flaw).

A named step, with a number attached — not "the AI needs to sound more natural," not "reply rates are down." Something Tiffany could actually chew on and act on that afternoon.

What the audit actually handed her

The output wasn't just a score. For each conversation, Claude broke down what Grace did well — the parts worth amplifying, not touching — and what Grace missed step by step. Then it went further: it showed the actual exchange with Amy, side by side with how that same moment should have been handled under the framework, and it distilled the pattern across all five conversations into a fresh set of prompt rules.

The difference between a report and a rebuild: a report tells you the score. This put the rewrite directly in Tiffany's hands.

The loop: an AI agent that gets coached, not just deployed

Here's what makes this a different use of the Sales Coach than the one you've probably heard about. Most people use it to prepare a human before a call. Tiffany used it to close a loop around an AI that never stops talking:

Run conversations → score against the 8 Steps → find the weak step → rewrite the prompt → run again.

The AI agent doesn't get better because someone had a hunch. It gets better because someone grasped exactly where it was losing ground — Cost of Inaction, specifically, the step where a prospect has to say out loud what happens if they do nothing — and fed that diagnosis straight back into the instructions the agent runs on. Every conversation Grace has from here forward inherits the fix.

If you're running one AI agent or ten, the question isn't whether it's talking to enough people. It's whether anyone has ever checked if it's any good at the conversation itself — step by step, the way you'd coach a rep you were serious about keeping.

See what your agent's conversations are actually doing

If you're running AI agents on text, chat, or email and you've never scored a single conversation against a real sales framework, you don't have a performance problem yet — you have a visibility problem, and it's an easy one to fix. Every AI agent operator is watching reply rate. Almost none of them have opened a single conversation and checked if it's actually good — that's the gap between running an AI agent and running one you'd stake your name on.

The fix isn't about sending more messages. It's about closing more of the conversations you're already having.

Bring one real conversation — human or AI — to a discovery call, and we'll score it against the 8 Steps of the Repeatable Sale live, name the weakest step, and show you exactly what to fix first. Book one here: https://www.strategysprints.com

Happy hunting.
